After logging into Simply Safety! v6, the user received the message “Bad filename or number”.

This error indicated that the Shared Images folder has not been properly set up.

In the SETUP module, select the SETUP menu and select the tab labeled IT System Management. In the bottom right corner is a field called Shared Data location. Ensure that this field points to the proper location (identified as a “Share” using //server/share-name) and assign MODIFY permissions to all Simply Safety users.
