You can either flag the Employee record as being Inactive, or you can remove all facilities from the list of facilities assigned to the employee.

In the Config app you can do both of these, but the Employee Maintenance on the website doesn’t make the Active flag available, but you can remove all facilities from the employee.

Doing either one of these will prevent the employee record from appearing in the list of employees available as participants of an event.
