The email message below is sent out by the notification service whenever it detects that the database server is unavailable. This can occur if the server is taken offline for backups or performs a reboot because of Windows updates.

To learn more about the error, note the time that the email was sent and then open the Notification Service Logfile for that period. Scroll to the time of the email and view the activity taking place at that time. You may also learn more about the status of the computer by viewing the system log files.
